This is a montage of the platforms that surround the end of the river. I'm wanting to show views as well as visually represent the architectural scheme is dependent upon/draws from the natural environment. This is one of the concepts that branches from the 'main concept' where both architecture and the natural environment are reliant on one another.
Maybe i've been looking at it for too long, but something seems off..not really sure what. Feedback?
Thanks :)
Amy
I think maybe what's niggling at you but you can't put your finger on is the colour scheme. the trees seem a bit too bright and draw the focus away from the architecture- maybe lower the saturation on them a bit or change the colour balance so they fit in a bit better colour wise. Maybe lower the saturation or opacity on the people a bit as well (?) not sure about that one but definitely change the trees :)

yes turn down the opacity. they are also too big compared to the people
ReplyDeletealso a further improvement may be to look at the size of the timber mapped on the surfaces, they look adnormally large, maybe repeating a smaller scale surface would look better

all good comments Amy....you might also want to give your people a little transparency - try between 65-85%. It's a strong image! - trees are a good scale. Are the activities of the people "representative" of your idea programmatically?

and shadows for the people and the trees!
