So line weight are hard to see, try to use 3-6 different weights from 1pt to .10 pt. The darkr the line the more important as it is what our eye is driven to first.
The lighter say (.1-.2) line weight are for things like stairs, doors windows, and the heiver for the walls. I would probably only use 1pt for a section cut or ground line. As for the context around the buildings, keep it light unless it is important to the scheme as really it just helps you read the inside of the building
Make sure you keep the weights consistant through your whole set of drawings including sections etc. One last thing, try to connect the internal walls so they read as one horizontal section cut through the buidling. Most of these things just make it easier to read.
