For the next week:
You should focus on two things:
1) a broad masterplan for the site (draw on you previous project and your 1:2000 model for how you might organise the project at this scale)
2) build a new physical model at 1:50 - this should be a study of the form, mass and internal organisation of your project in 3 dimensions. IT MUST BE SPATIAL - and provide a sense of what it is like to occupy and experience the building. Do not be precious with this model - it should be rough - quick - and reworked several times as part of the design process. Draw and sketch on it if need be to explain and test your ideas.
Bring the model in to the next class as a work in progress to discuss.
We will have one-on-one crits this Thursday. Times will be determined on Monday.
